The "Making Bali hOMe" Retreat

Since moving here over 5 years ago on January 2018, we encounter many people who share the dream of living abroad in Bali but are afraid to take the leap due to various reasons such as fear of the unknown, lack of knowledge of the Indonesian land ownership laws, and the need to frequently travel to Bali to manage the process.

In 2019, we found a simple solution to these problems: a stewardship model that can provide individuals with a seasonal home in Bali for at least 30 days a year for 20 years, while also giving back to the local community.

This model was - and still is! - especially appealing during the uncertain times as it provides an opportunity to have a second home in an exotic location without the need to completely uproot oneself.

(While this "Bali Land Stewardship Program" has sold-out, we may re-open it in the future as we look to steward the land right next to ours, which is still for sale.)

For those considering our next stewardship program, it's highly recommended to come to Bali for a short time and experiencing the island for yourself, before making a multi-year commitment.

Bali is a unique and diverse destination that may not suit everyone's lifestyle or needs. By spending some time on the island, you can get a feel for the local culture, climate, and lifestyle, and determine if it's the right fit for you and your family.

That's why we've created the "Making Bali hOMe" 1-on-1 Retreat. 

What better way to do this than with residents who have called Bali home for over five and a half years to show you what it's really like to live here?

Not only will you focus on learning what no book or video can teach you about making Bali a part-time or full-time home, but also . . .

  • Accommodations in our Premium “Nai'a” bungalow where you can enjoy “barefoot jungle luxury” overlooking the famous Petanu River. Single, double, or triple occupancy available for just you, or you and a friend, or you and 2 friends. For families, 2 adults and 2 kids will fit comfortably.

  • 24/7 access to your own private jacuzzi and full kitchen

  • Access to Yoga Shala (some restrictions apply)
